My Qualifications
Hello. My name is Joe Sturtz. My hobbies consist of darts, billiards, chess and table tennis. I grew up in the northern New Jersey area where I learned how to play these games or sports, except for darts, which I picked up in Framingham, Massachusetts. My name is not particularly known in any of these hobbies of mine on a national level. The chances that you know me are about one in about ten million. So, why am I here? Why am I instructing in darts? And why am I instructing in pool (PoolSmarts.com)? These are all good questions! First of all, let me say, that I play all four games with about the same equality of ability, expert level. There are very few people that can play two of these games well, let alone three, or four! If there were an Olympics of these four games, there is no doubt in my mind that I would win the gold every time. Personally, I have a high aptitude in spatial relations, which I enjoy using very much (I won an Architectural and Design Award, competing against architects, when I had no prior training in that field-none!), I also have very good motor skills, I am very analytical, I have a psychology background, and the most important thing, is that I hate to lose! Don't get me wrong, I am a very good loser, but I do blame myself when it does happen and that is why I choose to play sports that are individualized in nature. This is so that I don't have to blame anyone but myself. Still wondering why an unknown is instructing? Well, the next time you are watching a tennis match, take a look at who is coaching the "Pros." Chances are pretty good that you have never seen the coach before, let alone, even know their name! In the last five years, I have taught in excess of over four hundred students in both pool and darts. What I have to offer all the members of DartSmarts.com is rapid development with a solid foundation. Obviously, I have a knack for learning many things with a high level of proficiency and in a short amount of time. So, I have many things to offer the person that wants to develop quickly with little to no down time. Basically, what I'm offering is "Performance Darts, Overnight!"
