Q: Where did the concept of DartSmarts.com come from and why?
A:This is a question that I can't answer as being DartSmarts.com, but I can answer it from the person that I am, Joe Sturtz. For the many years that I have been playing darts along with the other games I play and enjoy, I have not experienced as much difficulty in developing a high level of skill with the existing quality equipment used in that particular game, as I have with the game of darts. One is ONLY as good, as the EQUIPMENT that they play with, allows them to be! If you are playing pool with a broom stick, it isn't going to happen, no matter what you know and how much you practice.

Throughout the entire time that I've been playing, I have never been satisfied with the feel of control that I receive when throwing a dart. Darts shouldn't be such a difficult sport, especially for a beginner! Why would anyone like to do something that's extremely difficult? With throwing darts being so difficult, imagine how many people would be playing darts today, if it were easy!
After analyzing the equipment, from tip of point to flight protector, I was totally amazed at how many design defects there were and was even more, bewildered, why companies would allow this to happen. Could they make all this inadequate equipment and not realize it? That in essence is the question we all need to ask ourselves. Millions and millions of dollars and no research or development? Wow! This is staggering! but the one fact that has inspired me to create DartSmarts.com is that darts shooters will purchase set after set of darts, it they aren't satisfied with the ones they are shooting! If you look at CrowsDarts.com's poll results from "previous polls results" that is located off of their home page, you will find the question: "How many sets of darts do you own?" Not only was the fact that 5 percent said that they owned eleven to twenty sets of darts staggering, but another 6 percent said that they had twenty-one or more sets of darts. Wow! Incidentally, 4 percent said they had seven to ten sets. So, this translates to worldwide figures as 15 million darts shooters have, on the average, eighteen sets of darts. Ouch! Something is seriously wrong here, people! There ought to be a law and someone should do something about it and this is why I am here right now!

Q: What is the goal of DartSmarts.com?
A: DartSmarts.com goals are fourfold: Increase the skill level of DartSmarts.com members at least two full levels, based on ten levels. DartSmarts.com will furnish quality information for darts shooters around the world concerning the over abundance of poor quality darts plaguing "our beloved" sport. DartSmarts.com will also, make available quality online instruction, in text and video, with the sole purpose of rapidly increasing your skill level with a solid foundation. Lastly, DartSmarts.com will stock the best dart equipment there is to offer in our online catalog. If we cannot find it, we will design it and fabricate it ourselves. For example, we have three training devices that are not available anywhere else in the world!

Q: I've read the Mini Dart Equipment Lessons, did all the suggested testing situations that you suggested throughout it, and yes, you were right about all of them, but why should I trust DartSmarts.com and start taking your instruction, your advise, and begin making all of my dart equipment purchases through you?
A: Well, lets look at what you know are the facts! Up till now your dart performance has always been inconsistent, you are still here and wanting to play the game, so it is inevitable that you are going to spend your money on darts and equipment until you are satisfied! Correct? Yes! Now you must realize that what you have been doing in the past didn't work, so you have no other logical choice but to try something different!
